Custom Drapery & Shades in Scott County, MN

Scott County is one of the fastest-growing parts of the Twin Cities, and many of its homes have the big windows and open rooms that come with newer construction. From Shakopee to New Prague, those spaces need drapery and shades sized and styled for them.

In Shakopee and Savage, many homes have two-story windows and wide patio doors facing the Minnesota River Valley. Large openings like these are where motorization earns its keep, since opening and closing them by hand every day gets old quickly. Homes in Prior Lake, near the lake and not far from Mystic Lake, often have rooms oriented toward the water. We design treatments that let in the view and soften the afternoon glare. Shakopee’s newer neighborhoods, near Valleyfair, Canterbury Park, and the Renaissance Festival grounds, also lean toward durable fabrics and easy-to-use controls for busy households.

Farther south and west, historic downtown buildings in Jordan and Belle Plaine sit alongside newer neighborhoods in Elko New Market and New Prague. Older homes in those towns can have windows that don’t match any standard size, and custom fabrication solves that.
